Traveling to Goa? These are the 11 BEST Hostels in Goa, India
Goa is a part of the world where you’ll find an eclectic mix of psytrance music, secluded beaches, yoga studios, and vegan cafes. I’ve spent months living in Goa, exploring its nooks and crannies, driving motorbikes through jungle in search of pristine slices of paradise, climbing crumbling fortresses, and stuffing my face with some of the most mouthwatering curry I could fit into my ever-expanding belly. I’ve stomped my bare feet at silent discos, guzzled
Old Monk whiskey chai, and listened to live music played by dudes in rainbow beaded dreadlocks.
If you find yourself traversing the hip lands of Goa, you’ll definitely have to stay at one of these hostels. These are the 11 best hostels in Goa, India – places you’ll end up staying for a while and calling home.
North Goa is full of psytrance and techno music and a vibrant nightlife. This is where you’ll find the stereotypical Goa parties that last well past sunrise. These are the best hostels in North Goa where you can aid that hangover with all of the other travelers and relax in a hammock.
Happy Panda Hostel Arambol
What makes Happy Panda Hostel one of the best in Arambol is its library that offers a wide selection of books for travelers. You can rent bikes, go windsurfing, or rent a car. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming and the staff will make you feel right at home. There’s even a fun neon room, adding to the overall hippy vibe of the hostel. It’s in a good, central location of Arambol so you’re close to the beach and all of the shops.

It’s next to the beach so you won’t have to walk far to catch some rays. They also offer filtered water so you don’t have to keep buying water bottles at the shops.

This is one of my favorite hostels in India. They have some of the best WiFi I had while traveling there, delicious free breakfast, and comfortable rooms. They put on event nights like free beer, trivia, and yoga. It’s a very sociable hostel that attracts an awesome crowd of travelers and a great atmosphere to meet other people.
